Kodak ha presentato la sua prima fotocamera istantanea digitale. Si chiama Kodak Printomatic ed è una fotocamera tascabile che combina un sensore da 10 megapixel con la possibilità di stampare istantaneamente fotografie da 2 x 3 pollici su carta Zink senza inchiostro. Realizzata dalla C+A Global che detiene la licenza del brand, la Printomatic è simile alla Polaroid Snap – non a caso, costruita dallo stesso marchio che ha anche la licenza Polaroid – ed è perfetta per chi ha voglia di avere tra le mani la foto appena scattata. Puoi caricare la fotocamera con la presa Usb, mentre il flash incorporato si accende automaticamente quando la luce è bassa. C’è anche un indicatore di stato della stampante e due modalità di stampa separate: a colori o in bianco e nero. L’utilizzo della tecnologia Zink permette di realizzare fotocamere compatte, non avendo bisogno di cartucce da ricaricare: fa tutto la carta termica che stamperà le foto e mescolerà i colori al punto giusto soltanto grazie al calore.
