Hanon Hōshō (宝生波音 Hōshō Hanon) is the deuteragonist of the Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch anime. She is the mermaid princess of South Atlantic ocean and the owner of the Aqua Pearl. Unlike Lucia Nanami, Hanon came onto land to escape from the water demons that had destroyed her kingdomand forced the mermaids living there to flee. Hanon first meets Lucia at school, in episode 1 of the anime, where they become fast friends. Later on, she and Lucia met Rina and befriended her as well, causing th
