Everybody was wondering if there could ever possibly be a successor to follow the enormously popular HJC RPHA 10. If you were looking for a lightweight helmet, the first thing you would end up with would be HJC’s previous pride and joy. However, HJC has managed to improve the RPHA 10 even more and now has bikers drooling once again. There’s a comfortable ride in store for you with only (more or less) 1300g on your noggin. HJC has used the Premium Integrated Matrix (PIMPLUS) technology to manufacture the outer shell. Materials used in the manufacturing process are preimpregnated carbon, aramid and fiberglass interwoven in a special way so that less (heavy) resin is needed. The result: a helmet shell that is much lighter than a conventionally manufactured helmet. All of this is possible without sacrificing on the safety of the helmet. The outer shell is available in three sizes and the inner sizing goes from XXS to XXL, depending on the type. The helmet also has a newly developed top spoiler which keeps the helmet very stable, even at high speed. The outer shell is optimised for the airflow within the helmet which is very noticeable. Thanks to the MultiCool inner lining containing improved antibacterial fabric, better drainage and the fast drying material you will feel (and smell) much fresher in this helmet than in any of its predecessors. The HJC RPHA 11 is also very accessible to riders with glasses. This sport helmet is equipped with an Emergency Kit. This means that the cheek pads can easily be removed by medical personnel after an accident. Although, we don’t expect you’ll ever have to use this. The extremely safe Double-D buckle neck strap is easy to open at any time, but will never open on its own. The HJC RPHA 11 visor is easy to replace without the use of tools thanks to the RapidFire system. Your viewing angle from the helmet will be nothing short of excellent thanks to the extra wide visor which is also Pinlock prepared.
